Angela Mimiaga is a Mexican filmmaker with 5 years experience in Directing and Producing Documentaries, Video editing, Camerawork and recently in the Narrowcasting area. Working on different projects and in different locations such Spain, Venezuela, Holland and Mexico, gives her an extensive experience in different aspects of television, internet and narrowcasting work.  Angela currently lives in Amsterdam, working for ROCmedia and for the IamTV based project.

Her currently job is coaching and instructing new videographers for ROCmedia, on best practices, camera work, sound and video montage, as also Directing and Editing her own video productions for the company.

Reservas de vida (Life Preservation) was her major project during 2007/2009, being director and producer of a TV documentary series co-produced with Vive TV Venezuela, making 6 documentaries addressing the environmental issues in the National Reserves (National parks) of Venezuela. With topics like: Global warming in the Venezuelan Andes, Mining in one of the largest waters basin in Latin America polluting the water and the disappearance of Indian communities that are attacked by coal mining,

The production team was with the participation of Vicent Chanza, Kistine Carcamo, David Segarra, Thairon Martinez, Tristan Goasguen, Federico Marafioti, Tessa Marsman, Johana Levy, Cooperativa Altermedia and Cooperativa Ecourbano.
The series is currently in transmission on Venezuelan TV channels.
